Our experience buying our first home was a journey, so let me start with the TL;DR: Misty went so far above and beyond what people expect from a buyer's agent. Her determination literally made the impossible possible.Not only was she highly responsive, attentive and professional from the beginning of our search, but once we found the exact place we wanted, she came through for us in a major way.In order to get an offer put in, we had to get financing together fast, and our previous broker simply could not get our prequal together in time. Misty introduced us to a lender she trusted in literal minutes, who was not only able to restructure our loan in a more advantageous way for us, but was able to get the information we needed to put in an offer the same night. She was up late through the night to get our offer together for start of business the next day.She kept us on track through the entire due diligence process, and we felt like we had hugely lucked on this deal. We set our closing date for Friday Sept 27th, looking forward to starting the next chapter of our lives. Then, boom, Hurricane Helene.The house was unfortunately not spared from the impact it had on our community. It was a devastating feeling, but after fighting through service outages for hours, she reached out to us and asked if we still wanted to make it work. Our heart was set on this house, so we said yes.Thus kicked off two months of grueling work to keep the deal together in time to maintain our financing in the face of ballooning interest rates. Misty took the reigns and communicated constantly with our lender, the sellers agent, contractors, and insurance to keep us informed and advocated for us fiercely every step of the way. In the end, she had to introduce her own connections in the contracting field to get the seller working with an estimate the insurance company would accept. It came down to the very last minute, and was the source of many sleepless nights, but Misty kept the hope alive and kept the whole ordeal under control.Mind you, this wasn't a high value deal. We were closing on a modest starter home for a young couple totally unfamiliar with the world of real estate transactions, but the commitment, expertise and service we got from Misty was truly the highest caliber. It literally would not have happened without her.This was probably a worst case scenario when it comes to buying a home, but we ended up with a complete and convenient home that was, most importantly, ours.So, if you're looking for a superhero agent that will treat your needs as the top priority, will be ready whenever you need them and will come through for you despite seemingly impossible odds, this is the person you want on your side.10/10

“The minute we signed the contract, Heather Murphy and her team were ready to go. Photographers came and photographed our house, advertisements about our house appeared on Zillow and various other websites. Several open houses were scheduled both for other agents and for potential buyers. We received reports about the results of each open house. When an agent noticed that one of the curtain pulls had broken, she called and they found someone to fix it immediately. Also they recommended that a small amount of furniture would make the house look more attractive so the Heather Murphy group put the furniture into the house and saw to it that the furniture was arranged attractively. When it came time to negotiate with the buyers, Heather Murphy was always at the end of the phone offering suggestions to make the process go more smoothly and explaining details.The sale was completed about 2 months after we signed the contract. All of this is in contrast to the highly recommended agent that had the house for six months last year and had about 1 open house a month – and cut these short as we know from entry and exit times the alarm system gave us.”

“We interviewed a number of realtors in the area to sell our home that had sat on the market with no interest for months with another realtor. We got a good feeling from Heather, and liked her detailed plan for selling our home. The moment our home was listed with her, she had a professional photographer in and photos were available on the MLS very soon after. We had more interest in the first weeks than we had in months – Heather and her group really put our home out there. When we hadn’t received a good offer in a few weeks, she brought in a stager and furniture at her own expense and then took new photos.
